Annual Fall Festival
Pumpkin painting was a big draw again at the 2011 Fall Festival in front of the County Courthouse. 36 pumpkins were decorated by kids of all ages. After the judges reviewed the completed works of art, they declared the winners to be: Most Beautiful Pumpkin - Cathy/Jaiden Hinson Scariest Pumpkin - Blake Driggers Bravest Pumpkin - Kayunal Johnson/Alexia Jackson Most Creative Pumpkin - Jackie Huntley Most Colorful - Eric Lemon Many thanks to all who participated and to our volunteers for making this year's Fall Festival a great success! |

Annual Christmastime Tour of Homes on the First Sunday of December from 4:00 to 7:00 pm
You're invited to tour local historic homes all decorated for the holiday season. The Tour is a wonderful opportunity for our community to get together, to share in the holiday season and to appreciate the beautiful homes and local art galleries in our town. Refreshments and live music at some locations. Tickets: $10. Before the Tour, tickets are available for pre-purchase at the Chamber of Commerce office, Lacy's gift shop, Fancy Crafts gift shop and Wadesboro Town Hall. On the day of the Tour, purchase tickets at Wadesboro Town Hall. Presented by Uptown Wadesboro, Inc. All proceeds go to fund UWI's community projects.
